Responsibilities
Perform plating processes including line start-up, operation and shut down processes
Make adjustments to tanks including temperatures, flow, shut down, etc
Monitoring all machine/line dynamics
Check, maintain and adjust pH, feeders, temperatures and complete required documentation of checks
Monitor plating results, including review parts, checking for defects and preventing plating defects through process adjustments
Troubleshooting of equipment and parts during the plating process
Understand customer/vendor parts and requirements
Participate in cross training for various departments
Perform lock-out, tag-out on necessary equipment
Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Prior machine operation experience required
Ability to safely work with chemicals, chemical identification & understanding of chemistry a plus
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to safely move chemicals using a forklift or other material handling equipment
Operation of overhead crane or hoists
Basic mathematical and organizational skills
Preferred
