This role involves advising clients on antitrust and competition law matters, representing them before enforcement authorities, and handling civil antitrust litigation.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on antitrust and competition law matters, including government and internal investigations and enforcement actions
Represent clients before enforcement authorities such as the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
Handle civil antitrust litigation, including discovery management, drafting pretrial motions, and overseeing complex cases
Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings
Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on strategy, case management, and client counseling
Provide sophisticated legal analysis on competition issues affecting major corporations and financial institutions

Required

JD from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice in California (or eligible)
Significant experience in one or more of the following: Antitrust and competition law, government and internal investigations, and enforcement actions
Civil antitrust litigation, including discovery and motion practice
Excellent legal writing, analytical, and case-management skills

Preferred

Experience interacting with federal enforcement agencies strongly preferred
Prior federal clerkship and/or background in economics or a related discipline preferred
