Impulse Space is seeking an Accountant to create processes and procedures for maintaining accounting and financial records in accordance with US GAAP. The role involves overseeing general ledger activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Lead and support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit documentation
Manage and improve accounting processes, controls, and systems
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Analyze financial results and explain variances to management
Coordinate tax preparation and filings with internal teams or external advisors
Partner with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
Support special accounting projects and system implementations as needed

Required
