Responsibilities
Assist in purchasing raw materials, hardware, and components from approved suppliers
Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and follow up with vendors to ensure timely fulfillment
Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information in ERP/MRP systems
Support cost tracking, vendor evaluations, and sourcing alternatives
Communicate with internal departments to understand material requirements and lead times
Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed to avoid shortages or overstock
Help resolve supplier issues, discrepancies, or quality concerns
Send requests for quotes to suppliers for outside services
Qualification
Preferred
Associate's degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, business, logistics, or related field
1–2 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or shipping—preferably in a manufacturing environment
Basic understanding of purchasing processes and supply chain functions
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team
Comfortable working in both office and light industrial environments
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Experience in AS9100 or ISO-certified environments is a plus
Knowledge of ITAR and export documentation requirements is preferred
