The Research Technician will play a vital role in identifying valuable IT equipment, researching values, and ensuring customer data removal from equipment.

Responsibilities
Quickly identify valuable IT equipment and prep for sale
Research values of IT equipment
Repair and part out IT type equipment (PCs, Notebooks, Printers, Servers, etc.)
Ensure all customer data has been removed from IT equipment
Travel for in/out of state special projects when required – Optional
Includes sitting, standing, bending, twisting and the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Other duties as assigned by department
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Applicant has typing skills and be able to perform constant data entry
Resume shows a background working with computers
Work history doing hardware repair
Productively work as an individual and as part of a team
Personality needs to be outgoing, energetic, and able to multi-task and be able to prioritize workflow
Be creative when it comes to marketing and be able to quickly understand the value of IT type product
Preferred
A+ certification or IT type degree
PC Tech Experience
Previous employment in computer related job
Familiar with selling on the Internet sales websites
