Responsibilities
Assign production to the team, train and motivate team members
Evaluate production needs daily to ensure efficient in handling of volume changes, suggest and/or initiate improvements in quality
Responsible for direct hiring, training, coaching, and deliver appropriate disciplinary actions Investigates and responds to inquiries, effectively managing, and prioritizing workload to meet critical deadlines
Conducting department meetings and communicating effectively with your team and upper management
Maintains professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures
Develop and maintain department policies and procedures
Initiate, perform, and/or oversee regular maintenance to department scanning equipment
Collaborate effectively with cross functional teams to implement solutions to keep the department in compliance
Develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external partners
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
5 years minimum prior relevant experience
1-3 years' experience in the mortgage industry
Minimum 1 year supervisory experience strongly preferred
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graph
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Preferred
Minimum 1 year supervisory experience strongly preferred
