Warehouse Specialist

The Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for receiving, processing, and managing inventory, ensuring accuracy within the Warehouse Management System while performing various warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments to verify contents and condition
Using mobile devices to accurately store and organize inventory in designated locations
Maintaining up-to-date and accurate inventory records, including restock levels and system updates
Performing regular cycle counts and making inventory adjustments as needed
Tagging and labeling merchandise in accordance with company standards and project requirements
Organizing and stocking inventory with precision, based on size, type, and categorization
Accurately fulfilling orders in a timely manner to meet internal and external deadlines
Following standardized procedures to safely box, pack, and prepare merchandise for outbound shipments
Operating and performing routine checks on warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
Entering accurate data into warehouse management and logistics systems, ensuring compliance with internal processes
Generating inventory and shipment reports and supporting warehouse audits as required
Administrative tasks, such as preparing paperwork or entering data
Train new team members on warehouse procedures
Overseeing the loading and unloading of trucks
Occasional movement of fleet vehicles within 30 miles of warehouse

Required

Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in documentation and inventory control
Physical capability to safely lift, carry, and move heavy objects as required by the role
Hands-on experience operating warehouse equipment and working with inventory management software or WMS (Warehouse management system)
Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Self-motivated and reliable, with the ability to work both independently and as a proactive team member
High School Diploma
2 years of experience as a Warehouse Worker
Valid Drivers License
