Responsibilities
Verify and update existing facility and work cell layouts in AutoCAD to ensure accuracy and alignment with current warehouse operations
Collaborate with the Facilities Manager and Operations Team to review equipment placement, work cell configurations, and space utilization
Conduct physical walkthroughs of the warehouse to validate layouts, measurements, and equipment locations against existing drawings
Assist with documenting layout changes, revisions, and version control for facility drawings
Support facility planning initiatives related to equipment moves, process changes, and space optimization
Assist with data collection related to space utilization, workflow, and material flow to support layout improvements
Maintain organized digital files and documentation for facility layouts and engineering records
Provide general engineering and administrative support to the Facilities and Operations teams as needed
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related area of study, with foundational understanding of mechanical and facility design principles
Experience or coursework using AutoCAD, with the ability to review, update, and create facility and layout drawings
Strong accuracy when verifying measurements, layouts, and documentation
Ability to identify layout inefficiencies and support practical solutions in a warehouse environment
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, facilities, and operations teams
Strong ability to manage drawings, documentation, and multiple tasks simultaneously
Earning bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
