Diagnose and repair construction equipment in-shop
Create repair plans and identify needed parts and tools
Accurately complete service reports and work orders
Safely operate and maintain shop tools and equipment
Communicate repair status to supervisor
Maintain a clean, safe work environment
Follow all company policies and safety procedures
Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years of heavy equipment mechanic experience or equivalent training
Skilled in heavy equipment repair and diagnostics
Familiar with hand/power tools and shop equipment
Knowledge of brakes, hydraulics, electrical systems, engines, and more
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
High level of professionalism and sound judgment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate equipment safely
Preferred
Associate Degree in Diesel or Equipment Technology
