Responsibilities
Execute processes for molding and casting according to the schedule
Consistent quality in molding, casting, trimming, and bodywork skills
Comprehension of different methodologies and how to find efficiencies
Exhibiting qualities of proactive thinking/planning
Execute processes for molding/casting to meet quality expectations set by both LF and client standards
Complete Plastics Fabrication QAP as required by each project
Identify potential ways to improve efficiency
Maintain shop safety guidelines and practices
Travel to assist on installs
Cross-training to develop skillsets and support other departments such as Sculpting, Fit Up, and Print Clean Up
Qualification
Required
1-2 years' minimum experience in a similar role or fabrication shop
Knowledge of fiberglass production, carpentry, and steel fabrication
Knowledge of the molding and casting process of sculptures
A detail-oriented multitasker. Must have great communication skills and the ability to easily adapt to changing circumstances
Strong ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
Experience with both electric and pneumatic hand power tools
Driver's license required
High school diploma required
This position is full-time; must have flexibility in your schedule to allow for extended hours as needed on a project by project basis
