Responsibilities
Define and own the AI vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to business goals
Drive adoption of GenAI, agentic systems, and RAG frameworks across product and internal tooling
Establish standards, governance, and operating models for AI development
Lead and grow AI/ML and data science teams
Oversee AI platform architecture on AWS (deployment, observability, cost control)
Guide experimentation and iteration using clear KPIs and measurement frameworks
Act as senior advisor to C-level stakeholders on AI strategy and execution
Review technical designs, unblock delivery teams, and ensure trust, safety, and quality in AI outputs
Qualification
Required
Strong experience in AI/ML, with a strong track record of production deployment
Proven ability to define AI roadmaps and influence executive stakeholders
Experience delivering AI products that drive measurable business value
Deep expertise in GenAI, agentic systems, and RAG approaches
Strong architectural knowledge of AI systems on AWS
Comfort building from zero to one and scaling successfully
Preferred
Experience with personalization, recommendations, or marketplaces
Background in SaaS or e-commerce environments
Prior success building AI teams or functions from the ground up
