Muchmore Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team providing support to law firms in the Seattle area. The successful candidate will manage and troubleshoot small business networks, ensuring high uptime and effective systems management for our clients.

Responsibilities

Working out of our downtown office and visit client office
Sharing On-call duties and readiness to troubleshoot on site
Independently managing tasks and responsibilities
Closely tracking your time spent supporting clients
Documenting system and growing knowledge base
Ability to conduct routine maintenance after hours
Working well with our team and directly with clients

Qualification

Windows ServersActive DirectoryMicrosoft 365Networking securityDisaster recoveryVirtualizationWatchguard firewallsNetwork switchesTroubleshooting skillsAutomation

Required

Thorough familiarity with Windows Servers, including Active Directory, Domain Controllers, and managing MS SQL servers
Troubleshooting skills sufficient to recover from any problem
Knowledge of networking security best practices, vulnerability assessments, and the underlying concepts behind them
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Azure and Entra integration with local domain
Proven ability to execute disaster recovery plan
Familiarity with virtualization using Hyper-V and VMWare
Ability to manage Watchguard firewalls
Familiarity with Network switches, including VLAN setup
Implementation of automation, including scripting and group policies
Sharing On-call duties and readiness to troubleshoot on site
Independently managing tasks and responsibilities
Closely tracking your time spent supporting clients
Documenting system and growing knowledge base
Ability to conduct routine maintenance after hours
Working well with our team and directly with clients
