Responsibilities
Ability to effectively communicate with TRS customer base, including but not limited to food service business operators and owners
Ability to navigate company software & technology to support customer needs and position requirements
Ability to plan efficient travel routes to meet with local business customers on recurring basis
Increase local branch sales by converting new prospects into active customers and re-engaging inactive and lapsed customers into regular purchasers with TRS
Communicate pertinent information to sales team at local branch through established communication methods
Communicate customer buying trends and competitor information to local store by providing relevant competitor invoices
Develop and maintain knowledge of available products
Qualification
Required

Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching
Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or field marketing / sales
Experience using MS Office Suite to maintain business-to-business relationships
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Must possess reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical and complex concepts in a simple and concise way to ensure ease of understanding
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to quickly adapt as business needs change
Ability to address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence
