Responsibilities

Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department
Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable
Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information
Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel
Monitors visitor access and issues passes when required
Schedules appointments as necessary
May make outbound calls to patients with scheduled time or relaying basic instructions
Performs clerical duties as needed, such as data entry/light typing, filing, photocopying, faxing and maintaining office supplies
Receives, sorts and routes mail, and maintains and routes publications
Performs miscellaneous other duties as assigned

Required

High School or GED (Required)
Friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic attitude
Excellent communication skills
Enjoys working with people and can handle multiple tasks
Typing, use of calculator, word processing and other basic computer skills
Minimum 6 months customer service or office clerical experience
