This hands-on role supports quality across transaction- and integration-heavy software products, executing testing and expanding automated regression coverage while collaborating closely with engineering teams.

Responsibilities
Execute functional, regression, and exploratory testing for complex systems, with strong attention to edge cases and failure modes
Design, build, and maintain automated test suites (reliable, maintainable, scalable)
Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned to requirements and risk
Analyze results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to drive timely resolution and root-cause insights
Support performance and reliability validation where applicable; help interpret results and identify bottlenecks
Contribute to continuous improvement through peer reviews, test effectiveness improvements, and QA best practices
Qualification
Required
6+ years of hands-on QA experience (must be actively executing testing today; not oversight-only)
3+ years of automation testing experience building and maintaining automated suites
Experience testing APIs/services and integration-heavy systems (end-to-end scenario thinking and troubleshooting)
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills; able to clearly explain testing approach and prior work
Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating across engineering/product stakeholders
Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and using automated tests to support delivery
Java: Strong proficiency writing and maintaining automation code, test utilities, and data-driven test frameworks; comfortable with collections, control flow, and debugging test failures
Selenium: Extensive hands-on experience building and maintaining reliable, scalable UI automation suites; strong locator strategies, waits, and cross-browser testing
Cucumber: Experience implementing BDD frameworks using Gherkin, writing clear feature files, step definitions, and maintaining readable, reusable test scenarios
AWS: Hands-on exposure to testing applications deployed in AWS environments; familiarity with cloud-based architectures, logs, and environment validation
API Automation: Strong experience testing RESTful services using tools/frameworks such as Postman, Karate, or custom Java-based API automation; end-to-end integration validation and error handling
Jenkins: Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines; triggering builds, analyzing test results, and supporting release readiness
Git: Daily use for source control, branching, pull requests, and collaboration with engineering teams
Preferred
Automation experience using Selenium and/or Playwright
Strong scripting/coding ability (e.g., Java) and comfort working with test code
SQL proficiency for validation and data verification
Performance testing experience (2+ years preferred) or strong exposure to load/latency/throughput concepts
Familiarity with security-focused testing (authentication/authorization, negative testing, input validation)
