Responsibilities
Join a team of 5 CT surgeons supported by 7 APPs, 6 perfusionists, and cardiac-trained anesthesiologists
Full breadth of adult cardiac and thoracic surgery, including TAVR, MitraClip, ECMO, and aortic cases
Weekly rotation with the Structural Heart team; shared case volume and active thoracic referrals
Dedicated 24-bed Open Heart Unit co-located with Cardiac ICU for continuity of care
Monday-Friday schedule with 4 OR days and 1 clinic day (flexible during ramp-up)
Call rotation is 1:4; evenly distributed cases among surgeons
Weekly multidisciplinary cath conference for collaborative planning
Strong referral base from 3 cardiology teams (2 private, 1 hospital-employed)
Qualification
Required
Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
Open to new grads and experienced surgeons; leadership roles available
H1B and J1 visa candidates considered
Must be comfortable in a high-volume, multidisciplinary environment
