Senior Mechanical Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design the mechanical backbone of advanced robotic and automation systems, involving precision assemblies and collaboration across various engineering teams.

Responsibilities
Design, prototype, and iterate mechanical assemblies, fixtures, and robotic tooling with high precision and manufacturability
Develop mechanisms, joints, frames, and end-effectors that support complex manipulation and automated workflows
Work closely with fabrication, machining, and suppliers to ensure high-quality parts and fast turnaround
Collaborate with robotics, controls, electrical, and automation engineers to integrate full electromechanical systems
Qualification
Required
Strong experience designing mechanical systems end-to-end: CAD modeling, mechanisms, tolerancing, materials, and DFM
Demonstrated ability to take designs from concept to prototype to reliable operation in robotics, automation, or hardware environments
Comfort working hands-on with fabrication, machining, rapid prototyping, and testing
Ability to operate in fast-moving, interdisciplinary settings and own mechanical deliverables with high rigor and speed
