Responsibilities
Leading a team of passionate and diverse individuals, empowering the hospital team to deliver an unparalleled client experience both in-clinic and virtually
Managing individual performance of team members and ensuring accountability with respect to Medical Quality, Member Experience, Team Engagement, and Profitable Growth
Building and overseeing the appointment scheduler, dedicating adequate time to forward-planning and maximizing productivity (daily schedule scrubbing)
Identifying development opportunities for team, providing regular feedback and accountability to ensure ongoing growth and skill development resulting in productive clinic operations, placing optimal skill sets across workflows
Overseeing training and development programs, ensuring compliance, completion, and progression across different pathways
Approving, correcting, and monitoring timesheets
Managing PTO requests
Managing clinic facilities and equipment maintenance, ensuring the overall hospital is set up for success by both proactively and reactively solving for potential issues
Handling duties related to clinic inventory including but not limited to ordering and receiving products and leading inventory counts
Managing in-clinic communication, including helping Clinic Manager facilitate daily huddles and meetings across the team, overseeing the huddle board, helping with implementation and trainings
Aiding in conflict resolution among team members and clients, collaborating with Clinic Manager and HR when needed
Monitoring client experience proactively. Reaching out to members following escalation tickets. Reporting member experience issues accurately, resolving promptly, and escalating as necessary
Fostering an environment of continuous learning, improvement and excellence
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated leadership ability in previous roles
Ability to build trust quickly with others for a collaborative, productive working relationship inclusive of sharing and receiving feedback
Willingness to grow and adapt, and an inclination to embrace change and work together to build an optimal solution for all
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage through change and bring people together amidst growth
A collaborative go-getter, willing to roll-up sleeves and be hands-on
Preferred
Previous veterinary experience preferred but not required
Has experience supervising others and coaching performance e.g. running shifts, overseeing teams, even if not direct management, preferred but not required
