Responsibilities
Handle a diverse caseload of probate, trust, and estate litigation matters, including will contests, trust disputes, fiduciary litigation, and related issues
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Represent clients in court appearances, mediation, and settlement negotiations
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, keeping them informed of case progress and developments
Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant Texas laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and effective case management
Participate in firm meetings, continuing legal education (CLE) programs, and other professional development activities
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in good standing with the Texas State Bar
3-5 years of experience in probate, trust, and estate litigation in Texas
Strong knowledge of Texas probate law, trust administration, and estate planning
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Proven ability to manage cases independently and as part of a team
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities
