They are seeking Welders who will be responsible for reading blueprints, sourcing materials, measuring and cutting materials, welding them together, and ensuring the finished work meets specifications.

Responsibilities

Read and understand blueprints prior to starting a project
Source the materials to be used in the project
Measure and cut materials to specifications
Weld materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
Check finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints

Required

Welder experience (1) year preferred
GED / High School Diploma
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Able to pass a background check
Able to work in the US
Knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools
Proven experience as welder
Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MMA etc.)
Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
Deftness and attention to detail
Proficient in English
Able to pass a background check
Able to work in the US
Successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is required
AWS welding certificate

Preferred

Bilingual is a plus
Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) a plus
