Responsibilities
Determine policy premiums using both automated methods (POS, PMS, and ACT) and manual methods
Complete timely and accurate issuance of Commercial Lines (CL) policies, quotes, endorsements, and subsequent transactions
Rate and issue a variety of transactions, including new business, renewals, quotes, endorsements, non-renewals, rewrites, cancellations, crits, report values, and/or the registry for small and middle market business for multiple regions
Interpret issuance and rating instructions from CL Underwriters and partner with them to deliver a timely and accurate product for customers, agents, and insureds
Provide customer service support for agents and insureds by handling various inquiries, resolving errors, and requests
Stays current with changing conformance or compliance issues, as well as procedural, system and/or workflow changes
Qualification
Required
2+ years or more of relevant insurance industry experience
Demonstrates a 'do it right the first time' attitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Technology proficiency in MS Office Suite
Ability to recognize discrepancies in data/information and proactively resolve them
Preferred
Associate degree
