The Co-Founding Engineer / Entrepreneur in Residence will be responsible for driving early-stage projects from concept to prototype, collaborating across disciplines to turn ambitious ideas into real-world breakthroughs.

Responsibilities
Take ownership of early-stage “what if…” ideas, turning them into working prototypes
Drive concepts through design, build, testing, and iteration
Prove feasibility with working demonstrations that open the door to scaling
Collaborate with other specialists, contributing expertise across projects and absorbing new perspectives
Ultimately, grow successful projects into teams and programs under your leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field
7+ years of experience delivering complex systems or equivalent track record of impact
Hands-on experience taking ideas from concept → design → prototype → test → delivery
Ability to thrive in ambiguity and self-direct in an unstructured environment
Strong communicator and collaborator across disciplines
People who have one of these core disciplines: Aerospace / Interplanetary Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Biosciences & Related Fields
Preferred
Prior work in innovation labs, skunkworks, or early-stage R&D organizations (e.g., Google X, DARPA, Skunkworks, etc.)
Track record of launching successful prototypes in open-ended, high-risk, high-reward domains
