Responsibilities

Monitor, analyze, and report on production and fixed costs—including price, yield, volume, and overhead absorption—to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
Develop, implement, and maintain cost control systems and reporting tools to enhance operational cost visibility and efficiency
Develop, implement, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost efficiency and productivity, ensuring clear visibility into financial impacts of operational performance
Investigate root causes of cost variances and collaborate with site leadership to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement
Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance cost effectiveness, productivity, and business outcomes
Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning processes, providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making
Drive cost optimization projects and conduct scenario analysis to support strategic objectives

Required

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; CMA or CPA certifications preferred
Minimum of 5 years' experience in cost control, financial planning and analysis, cost accounting, or plant controlling, ideally within chemicals or manufacturing industries
Proficiency in financial modeling and ERP system; SAP preferred
Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university
