Responsibilities
Learn how the Hedging & Trading team hedge NVR Mortgage’s loan pipeline and by observing how market movements, pricing tools, and investor programs influence daily decisions
Gain exposure to secondary‑marketing reporting by assisting team members as they prepare daily position summaries and walk through how discrepancies in data are researched and resolved
Spend time shadowing professionals across Capital Markets, Loan Sales, and Accounting to understand how loans are priced, committed, sold, and reconciled throughout the mortgage process
Learn about the broader Mortgage-Backed-Security (MBS) market and homebuilding lifecycle by seeing how hedging and trading activities support the sale of homes and by spending time with operations teams who help deliver a customer’s final mortgage product
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment in college degree program (scheduled to graduate within 12 months of the internship is preferred)
Highly driven & self-motivated with leadership experience
Strong communication skills
Current Driver's License
Students from all degree majors are welcome
Drug Testing and Credit Check are required
Applicants must be legally entitled to work in the United States, as NVR does not provide visa sponsorships
