Responsibilities
Unitize pipe online
Perform all measurements on daily inspection sheet and report any problems to crew leader
Fill out production tickets and load tags
Operate a forklift to take units out
Install rings properly
Identify visual defects in pipe
Record machine conditions and report any abnormality to crew leader
Clean cooling tank, water filters
Run Q.C. sample as required
Assist online start up
Check and add oil to the corrugated oil system
Do daily clean up and take care of assigned areas
Perform other miscellaneous jobs as directed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent preferred
Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Have ability to write simple correspondence
Must have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Must have the ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
Have ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed bit uninvolved written or oral instructions
Must have the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
The employee frequently is required to walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear
The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb stairs, and to climb ladders and work at heights up to 50 feet
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
