Responsibilities
Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion
Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is properly recorded
Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate financial reporting
Conduct account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial records and bank statements
Generate detailed financial reports and analyses to support decision-making
Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies
Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting workflows
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar accounting role
Expertise in managing month-end close processes and maintaining general ledger accuracy
Proficiency in preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
