City of Twin Falls is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Seasonal Property Tax Reduction Clerk to assist property owners with the Idaho State Tax Commission Property Tax Reduction Program and related benefits. The role involves helping eligible homeowners navigate the application process with accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities
Assist property owners, in person and by phone, with completing Property Tax Reduction (Circuit Breaker) and Veterans program applications
Collect, review, and enter applicant information and supporting documentation into office systems
Verify application completeness and follow up with applicants regarding missing or additional documentation
Answer questions related to eligibility requirements, application deadlines, and required proof of income and expenses
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and personal information
Provide courteous, clear, and accurate customer service to the public
Assists with e-mail and fax requests
Backup for all foot traffic requesting general office information
Provides replacement coverage for receptionist when needed
Qualification
Required
Customer service principles and public-facing office procedures
Basic office practices and record-keeping
English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document review
Ability to manage confidential information with integrity and discretion
Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of standard office software
Ability to follow written procedures and meet firm application deadlines
Preferred
Basic familiarity with tax or financial forms
