Senior Manager, Supplier Education and Capabilities- Sourcing and Procurement
Walmart Canada is seeking a Senior Manager, Supplier Education and Capabilities to lead supplier-facing programs that drive measurable impact across global markets. Responsibilities
Lead strategy, design, testing, and launch of supplier capability initiatives (e.g., assessments, intake, readiness)
Drive execution of key deliverables, ensuring stakeholder commitments are met with quality
Manage roadmaps and intake processes with strong program management discipline
Present updates, recommendations, and escalations with executive presence
Advocate for suppliers, merchants, and end users, ensuring initiatives deliver real value
Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with learning objectives and business priorities—actively supporting design efforts to enhance quality, engagement, and consistency across markets
Analyze data and KPIs to evaluate effectiveness, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement
Assist in developing content frameworks and standards for consistency and scalability across markets
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related area and 3 years' experience in supplier development, supplier management, sourcing, or related area
5 years' experience in supplier development, supplier management, sourcing, or related area
8–10 years in learning & development, instructional design support, data analytics, or related fields, with experience contributing to impactful learning experiences
Experience supporting capability initiatives such as assessments, readiness programs, and intake processes
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and influence decisions
Proven ability to influence without authority and deliver in matrixed organizations
Strong executive communication and presentation skills
Experience launching and iterating programs in large, complex environments
End-user orientation and comfort with ambiguity
Preferred
Exposure to capability-building frameworks and supplier enablement strategies
Experience with authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline) and LMS platforms
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for reporting and insights
Knowledge of learning analytics and performance measurement frameworks
Background in adult learning principles, digital learning strategies, and content localization
Advanced proficiency in Excel or similar tools for data analysis
Prior work experience in a product sourcing, supply chain, or merchandising organization
Prior work experience in educational content development and/or instructional design
