Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC, and MEP systems to ensure compliance with design specifications

Perform functional testing and troubleshooting of building systems and automation controls

Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement commissioning plans and strategies

Document findings, performance tests, and any discrepancies throughout the commissioning process

Provide on-site training and support to contractors and facility staff regarding system operations and maintenance protocols

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance processes during installations and testing

Required

Proven experience in commissioning, installation, and testing of electrical and mechanical systems

Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose system issues effectively

Strong documentation skills and attention to detail in reporting and compliance

Preferred

Preferred certifications include PE, CCP, CXA, or CEM, which demonstrate advanced expertise in commissioning, energy management, and professional engineering standards

Experience with field services and technical installation is a plus
