Responsibilities

Manage and oversee tax compliance and reporting for clients across various sectors
Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities
Review and ensure accuracy of workpapers and tax returns prepared by the team
Provide guidance and support during tax audits and reviews
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to advise clients accordingly
Mentor and train junior staff in tax principles and compliance practices
Collaborate with other departments to integrate tax strategies into overall business strategies

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA certification or EA is required, CPA candidates currently pursuing could be considered
5+ years of experience in tax compliance and planning, preferably in a public accounting environment
Proficiency in Ultratax and Thomson Reuters tax software
Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
