Intern: Summer 2026 - Materials & Processes Engineering and Mechanical Disciplines (Onsite)

They are seeking engineering interns to join their summer internship program, where interns will be involved in engine component evaluation, materials and chemical process development, and various analyses and testing for aerospace applications.

Responsibilities
During your internship you could be responsible for engine component evaluation, materials and/or chemical process development, analyses, testing and other support functions for both commercial and military jet engine applications
Specific tasks may include mechanical testing, structural analysis or structural software tool development, materials analysis, metallurgical or chemical analysis, inspection processes or coating property analysis
Interns will document and analyze data/results, prepare reports and presentations, draw conclusions and make recommendations based on experimental findings
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in a degree program in Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering/sciences field
Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Preferred
Candidate should have an interest in building a technical career in applied materials development and characterization
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Demonstrated experience working effectively in teams as both a leader and a participant
