Responsibilities

Actively participate in planning, designing, installing, and managing network systems to ensure stable, scalable, redundant, and secure 24x7 operations

Implement and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, content filtering, VPNs, and data loss prevention

Manage and configure Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewall services

Administer complex Cisco-based switching, routing, and wireless infrastructure

Oversee load balancing and reverse proxies using A10 networks

Implement and manage network access control solutions (Cisco ISE, Free Radius, ACLs)

Deploy multifactor authentication solutions and cloud-based virtual networking/security services

Utilize and configure routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP

Manage enterprise data center security, including micro-segmentation and PKI/certificate management

Perform vulnerability management and packet/protocol analysis using industry-standard tools

Use centralized management platforms (Panorama, SolarWinds) for network monitoring and maintenance

Prepare technical documents, diagrams, project plans, and provide effective presentations

Mentor junior associates and work independently to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues

Maintain up-to-date certifications and demonstrate expertise in major server/desktop operating systems and utilities
