They are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to ensure smooth financial operations, manage cash activities, and support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Responsibilities

Prepare and record journal entries in a timely and accurate manner

Manage cash activities, including reconciliation of cash, receivable, and payable balances, credit card management, and cash forecasting

Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances

Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Maintain documentation supporting internal controls and accounting policies

Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal control requirements

Assist with audits and tax-related requests by providing accurate and timely documentation

Utilize accounting systems and software to maintain data integrity and participate in system enhancements and process improvements

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting (or Finance/related field)

Experience in accounting with strong knowledge of GAAP
