Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy new features and functionality

Take responsibility for one or more components within Akamai's Web Security platform

Demonstrate deep understanding of internet protocols (TCP/UDP, TLS/DTLS, HTTP) and network layers

Embrace a 'service always available' philosophy through resilient software design and operational awareness

Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex customer-facing network issues

Work with and deploy cloud-native constructs and technologies

Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems
