Responsibilities
Oversee all tax operations: compliance, ASC 740, and strategic planning
Manage multi-state tax filings, sales/use tax, 1099s, and property tax
Identify and secure tax incentives for capital projects
Collaborate with external firms on audits and tax credits
Manage daily cash flow and optimize liquidity
Maximize interest income and manage banking relationships
Lead RFPs for banking and credit card services
Monitor and reduce banking fees
Drive automation of treasury processes (Excel to Oracle ERP)
Lead and mentor tax and treasury teams
Address performance issues and support team development
Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, and operations
Qualification
Required
CPA required
10+ years of formal Treasury or Tax leadership experience required
Experience specifically in the Quick Service Restaurants, food, or retail industries
Experience with Oracle ERP and finance automation
Strong knowledge of multi-state tax and facilities-related incentives
Preferred
MBA or MS preferred
