Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications
Manage and coordinate construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task assignment
Ensure compliance with quality control standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, to provide updates and address concerns
Lead and mentor project teams, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement
Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring projects stay within financial constraints and identifying areas for cost savings
Administer contracts and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
Implement and enforce safety compliance measures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment

Required

Proven experience as a Civil Superintendent or similar role in marine construction projects
Technical knowledge of marine construction practices such as pile driving, fender installation, dock construction, etc
Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa
