Account Executive

Libnova is a global leader in digital preservation software, and they are seeking a high-performing Account Executive to drive new business growth. This full-cycle sales role focuses on complex B2B opportunities with enterprise and institutional buyers, requiring ownership of opportunities from first conversation through close.

Responsibilities

Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, qualification, solution positioning, negotiation, and close
Develop new pipeline across dedicated markets, with a focus on higher education, cultural institutions, research organizations, and public sector/government entities
Run discovery meetings that uncover strategic, operational, and risk-based drivers, not just feature needs
Position Libnova as a long-term strategic partner for digital preservation
Build and deliver tailored proposals and presentations in collaboration with sales leadership and product teams
Work closely with Marketing on inbound lead follow-up and targeted outbound campaigns
Partner with Implementation / Customer Adoption teams to ensure a seamless post-sale handoff
Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and activity tracking in the CRM
Represent Libnova professionally in customer meetings, events, and industry engagements

Qualification

Required

Native or fluent English (written and spoken)
Proven experience in a B2B sales role (Account Executive, Sales Executive, or similar)
Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles end-to-end
Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar)
Strong discovery, communication, and negotiation skills
Highly organized, self-directed, and results-oriented mindset
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Preferred

Experience selling SaaS, enterprise software, or technology solutions
Exposure to public sector, higher education, libraries, museums, or research organizations
Experience working with international or globally distributed teams
Comfort operating in high-growth, evolving environments
Ability to work varying business hours and manage autonomy effectively
