Production Technician

Amrize is the largest manufacturer and distributor of cement and related construction materials, currently seeking a Production Technician for its manufacturing facility in Coalville, Utah. The role involves maintaining and monitoring efficient operation of all production processes, ensuring safety compliance, and performing routine maintenance and inspections of equipment.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas
Practice and promote safety in such way as including but not limited to; assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, utilizing appropriate PPE
Exercise and encourage core values including but not limited to; developing self and coaching others by inspiration and empowerment
Responsible to maintain and monitor efficient operation of all production processes
Make routine operation and preventative maintenance inspections of process equipment, report all unusual conditions, and prepare work orders for maintenance when required
Operate Front end Loader, Skid Steer, forklift various Screening and crushing systems, and other equipment
Monitoring and recording material inventories
As directed, lubricate, inspect, adjust or make repairs to process equipment
Completion of the Area Safety Inspection, Mobile Equipment Checklist and any other documentation as required
Operate and perform duties at rail car loadout
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required
Production or other plant related experience strongly desired
Knowledge of the aggregate manufacturing process and equipment a plus
Must have basic computer skills
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Strong work standards and attendance record
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and work in both hot and cold environments
Must be able to work in awkward positions for short periods of time
Must be able to work in confined areas and not have a fear of heights
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators
