Responsibilities

Cleans, sanitizes, and assembles equipment in an acceptable sanitary fashion within the established time frame
Achieves tech release status within 2 months of accepting position as EPSU Tech
Thoroughly examines work area prior to releasing it for production to ensure that everything is clean, sanitized, and set-up properly for start up
Returns equipment to proper storage area (assembled and cleaned)
Reports any damage to equipment or facilities (i.e. broken blades, missing parts, metal or plastic shavings, broken o-rings, broken glass) to Team Leader immediately
Removes trash, denature product, bail cardboard, clean rolling stock constantly throughout shift

Required

Be able and willing to lift/pull 40-60# (drain grates) at floor level for a distance of 2 feet
Lift up to 60# (drain baskets) from floor level to a height of 3 feet
Push dumpsters weighing up to 1500# and team lift barrels
Must be able to grip/use hot water hose/nozzle (80-100# pressure) for 30 minutes to one hour periods
Willing to work overtime as needed
Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures

Preferred

High School Diploma/GED preferred
90 days of food manufacturing experience working in a Nestle factory preferred
