Responsibilities

Field data collection (soil, groundwater, soil gas, sediment, and surface water sampling)

Conduct Site Investigations including ASTM Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments Leveraging technology to support data management and visualization

Conduct and Document Research at State and Municipal Agencies

Provide Field Support and Documentation of Remediation Projects

Write Technical Reports, Correspondence, Notes and Memoranda

Qualification

Environmental ScienceGeologyEnvironmental EngineeringMicrosoft ExcelArcGIS ProHAZWOPER TrainingField WorkCommunication SkillsProblem Solving

Required

BS in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology or Environmental Engineering (MS a plus)

0-1 years of professional environmental/remediation consulting experience

Ability to work in field and office settings

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Motivated and ability to problem solve and work independently

Preferred

Knowledge of RIDEM Remediation Regulations and Massachusetts Contingency Plan regulations and guidance documents

Prior experience with SPCC and SWPPP inspections

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Experience with ArcGIS Pro, Field Maps, Survey 123, and/or mobile data collection

OSHA 10-Hour Construction and 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training certificates
