Responsibilities
Routine zebrafish facility maintenance and general laboratory support and management, such as buffer preparation, autoclaving, sample storage and inventory, and reagents ordering and receiving
Adult and larval fish husbandry
Zebrafish fin clipping and genotyping
Working with graduate students to perform basic laboratory experiments, such as PCR, DNA agarose electrophoresis, Western blot, and imaging using fluorescence scopes
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in biology or another science related field is prioritized
Basic Laboratory experience
Preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience working in a university or large institutional setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong time management abilities, with an emphasis on accuracy
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
