Responsibilities
Act as the primary relationship manager for assigned commercial clients
Maintain strong credit quality through ongoing portfolio monitoring and risk management
Develop new commercial relationships over time through referrals and client expansion
Partner closely with credit, underwriting, and operations teams to support loan structuring and execution
Focus on high-touch customer service and responsive client communication
Assist with loan renewals, modifications, and annual reviews
Ensure compliance with bank policies, credit standards, and regulatory requirements
Participate in business development activities as skills and confidence grow
Qualification
Required
Experience as a Portfolio Manager or junior Commercial Lender within a bank
Exposure to commercial credit, underwriting, and portfolio management
Strong relationship management and customer service mindset
Desire to grow into a full commercial lending role and develop a book of business
