National Manufacturing Group is a multi-plant OEM supplier specializing in custom molded materials. They are seeking a Controller who will manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

Manage, review, and publish monthly financial reports and bank statements

Daily cash management

Manage A/P and A/R

Complete year-end filing requirements for various accounting needs

Assist with income and expense account review, explanations, and applicable journal entries

Assist with monthly balance sheet account reconciliation and research for accounts

Partner with Operations’ Leadership in the financial budgeting, tracking and planning process

Analyze business information to identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase profit

Monitor and track monthly expenditures and capital spending to minimize overspending above planned and/or approved levels

Monitor labor and material trends and advise management on inconsistencies

Review operating results before closing to minimize errors

Ensure reports are complete, accurate and meet the key expectations of users

Oversee inventory process at each facility

Manage accounting team by supporting and filling in as needed

Keeping a check on the company’s finances based on financial status developing

Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations

Conduct cash flow reports

Oversite on general expenditures
