Responsibilities
CNC Programming 3-axis CNC machines on a variety of materials including aluminum, acrylic, steel etc. Using G-code and M-code programming language
Setting up and operating CNC machines, designing and manufacturing fixtures as needed
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and machining processes
Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances of machined parts
Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure operational efficiency
Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
Make necessary adjustments to programs and offsets
Maintain machine routing sheets
Ensure correct material is being used for yield and machinability
Support other manufacturing processes in the shop
Qualification
Required
CNC Programming, Machining, Milling and Set-up with at least 5 years of experience preferred
Proficiency in G-code programming (experience in conversational a plus)
Ability to use measuring equipment (Micrometers, Vernier Calipers, Steel Rules, etc.)
Knowledgeable of quality control processes
Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
