Responsibilities

Lead and develop a corporate accounting team (8+ professionals), driving high performance and technical excellence
Oversee timely and accurate preparation of all SEC filings and external financial reporting
Research, document, and review complex accounting matters under US GAAP
Monitor and implement new accounting and SEC reporting standards across the organization
Review significant contracts and collaborate with legal partners to ensure appropriate accounting treatment
Coordinate quarterly reviews and annual audits with external auditors
Support U.S. consolidated tax provision and compliance in collaboration with domestic and international teams
Assist with SOX compliance, including identification, development, and implementation of controls
Partner on special projects and strategic initiatives as needed

Required

10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience
Deep technical expertise in US GAAP, SEC reporting, and internal controls (SOX)
Proven experience preparing and presenting financial statements for public companies
Ability to interpret and implement new accounting and regulatory guidance
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferred

Prior Big 4 public accounting experience combined with SEC-reporting company experience
CPA
Exposure to U.S. and international tax matters
