Responsibilities

Oversee credit and collections operations, including accounts receivable aging, bad debt management, and risk assessment
Supervise and mentor a team, providing guidance and support to ensure performance goals are met
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to influence sales teams and align credit policies with business objectives
Analyze and approve credit applications while ensuring compliance with company credit policies
Generate accurate reports and analytics to provide insights into collections and credit activities
Utilize financial systems to manage accounts receivable and implement process improvements
Develop strategies for minimizing financial risks and optimizing cash flow
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication
Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve credit and collections efficiency
Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to maintain competitive and effective credit operations

Required

At least 7 years of experience in credit and accounts receivable functions
Minimum of 3 years of experience managing teams in a financial setting
Expertise in commercial collections, credit analysis, and assessing business risk
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments
Experience working with accounts payable/accounts receivable systems and generating analytical reports
Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and learn new systems and processes

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is desired
Proficiency in using NetSuite or similar financial software
