The role offers early courtroom exposure and hands-on civil rights litigation for attorneys with 1–6 years of experience, focusing on representing individuals in high-impact employment and civil rights matters.
Responsibilities
Represent plaintiffs in Employment Law - Litigation Plaintiffs & Class Actions cases
Litigate civil rights matters in state and federal courts
Draft complaints, dispositive motions, and appellate briefs
Conduct depositions and manage discovery strategy
Participate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
Advocate for clients in settlement negotiations
Analyze complex employment statutes and civil rights laws
Manage multiple New York legal jobs within a plaintiff docket
Work closely with senior litigators on high-stakes matters
Qualification
Required
1–6 years of Employment Law - Litigation Plaintiffs & Class Actions Attorney experience
Admission to the New York State Bar required
Excellent legal research and persuasive writing skills
Strong oral advocacy and negotiation abilities
Ability to handle multiple cases independently
