Responsibilities
Lead all phases of tax planning, preparation, review, compliance, and research
Prepare and review Individual, Fiduciary, Corporate, Partnership, and Multistate tax returns
Provide actionable guidance based on current tax laws, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific considerations
Supervise and mentor junior staff, including performance evaluations and professional development
Oversee complex accounting and tax projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
Review engagement work papers, resolve issues, and communicate key developments to senior leadership
Plan and coordinate engagement workflows, staffing, and schedules
Identify opportunities for additional client services and internal process improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
CPA designation
7+ years of public accounting or professional services experience
Preferred
Experience with CCH Axcess, Checkpoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and Intuit QuickBooks
Real Estate or asset-based client experience
