Responsibilities

Develop and execute cost effective, stable manufacturing processes that support a safe and quality conscience work environment
Work in and be exposed to several different Gas Turbine manufacturing environments
Complete an 18-month assignment with rotations through four different Manufacturing Business Units
Return to pre-designated business unit after the rotation to work as a full time, Charter Part, Manufacturing Engineer for a minimum of 18 months

Required

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, manufacturing technology, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or other relevant degree
Minimum overall GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale
0-3 years of relevant experience
Must be able and willing to relocate to San Diego, CA
Technical knowledge of manufacturing engineering fundamentals
Previous Internship and/or relevant work experience

Preferred

A working knowledge of basic manufacturing engineering practices, tooling concepts, problem solving skills, analytics, and computer skills for component manufacturing is desired
Ability to work in a fast-paced cross-functional team environment
High energy level and sense of urgency
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good business / technical judgment
Ability to handle multiple priorities for a variety of tasks
