Workforce Manager

The Senior Manager, Workforce Strategy & Capacity Optimization will lead enterprise-wide workforce strategies, optimize labor utilization, and ensure compliance with regulatory and operational challenges.

Responsibilities

Define and execute organization-wide workforce planning and optimization strategies that support operational scalability and long-term growth
Influence workforce initiatives across regions and partner functions, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities
Provide consultative guidance to senior leaders on capacity planning, labor models, and regulatory or market-driven challenges
Develop and implement standardized governance frameworks, policies, and planning methodologies to ensure consistency and compliance
Establish best practices for workforce data usage, reporting standards, and decision-support processes
Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on automation, process redesign, and workforce system enhancements
Own workforce data stewardship, ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and analytical integrity
Analyze complex labor and capacity datasets to uncover trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
Build predictive models and scenario analyses to forecast staffing needs, capacity constraints, and cost implications using advanced analytical tools
Translate quantitative insights into practical recommendations that improve operational flexibility and efficiency
Design and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks that provide real-time visibility into workforce performance
Support direct labor budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring alignment with financial targets and operational demands
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams and serve as a recognized resource for workforce optimization best practices
Partner closely with Operations, Finance, HR, Digital & Technology, and analytics teams to ensure integrated workforce solutions
Influence adoption of new tools, methodologies, and governance models across regions and sites
Champion the use of automation, advanced analytics, and modern workforce technologies
Navigate a highly matrixed environment with diverse operational needs across multiple locations
Manage organizational change associated with new workforce systems and planning approaches

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Human Resources, or a related discipline
Deep expertise in workforce management, capacity planning, and scalable scheduling frameworks
Advanced proficiency in data analytics, reporting, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Python, Excel, Databricks)
Strong experience designing governance models and analytics solutions in complex, multi-site environments
Strategic, forward-thinking problem solver with a strong innovation mindset
Collaborative leader who drives alignment across departments and shared objectives
Adaptable change agent with the ability to guide organizations through transformation
Clear, influential communicator capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels

Preferred

Master's degree or MBA in Business, Information Systems, or a related field
